透水(shui)(shui)(shui)磚(zhuan)(zhuan)其實是(shi)從國外傳入的(de)(de)，透水(shui)(shui)(shui)磚(zhuan)(zhuan)起源于荷(he)(he)蘭(lan),在(zai)荷(he)(he)蘭(lan)人(ren)圍海(hai)造城的(de)(de)過程中，發現(xian)排開海(hai)水(shui)(shui)(shui)后(hou)的(de)(de)地面(mian)(mian)會(hui)(hui)因為(wei)長期(qi)接觸不到水(shui)(shui)(shui)分而造成持續不斷的(de)(de)地面(mian)(mian)沉(chen)降。一(yi)旦海(hai)岸線上的(de)(de)堤(di)壩被沖開，海(hai)水(shui)(shui)(shui)會(hui)(hui)迅速沖到比(bi)海(hai)平面(mian)(mian)低很多的(de)(de)城市把整(zheng)個臨海(hai)城市全(quan)部淹沒。為(wei)了使地面(mian)(mian)不再(zai)下(xia)沉(chen)，荷(he)(he)蘭(lan)人(ren)制(zhi)造了一(yi)種長200毫米寬100毫米50或60毫米高的(de)(de)小(xiao)型路(lu)面(mian)(mian)磚(zhuan)(zhuan)鋪設(she)在(zai)街道路(lu)面(mian)(mian)上，并使磚(zhuan)(zhuan)與磚(zhuan)(zhuan)之間預留了2毫米的(de)(de)縫(feng)(feng)隙。這樣下(xia)雨(yu)時雨(yu)水(shui)(shui)(shui)會(hui)(hui)從磚(zhuan)(zhuan)之間的(de)(de)縫(feng)(feng)隙中滲入地下(xia)。這就是(shi)后(hou)來很有名(ming)的(de)(de)荷(he)(he)蘭(lan)磚(zhuan)(zhuan)。
